Ronald McDonald House Charities
Alpha Delta Pi partnered with Ronald McDonald House Charities in 1979. Since then, Alpha Delta Pi has contributed over $6 million to this organization. The Zeta Gamma Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi supports Ronald McDonald House Charities in many different ways. From events such as our Annual Boot Scootin' BBQ in the fall, and Pie-A-Pi and Pop Tab Wars in the Spring, we are so proud of the long-standing relationship we share with RMHC. The mission of RMHC is to create, find, and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children. RMHC makes an immediate, positive impact on children’s lives through its global network of chapters. RMHC also provides funding to other non-profit organizations whose programs focus on children in need.
To this day, there are over 300 Ronald McDonald Houses in 52 countries. The houses fulfill the functions of comfort, care, and gives a sense of a “home-away-from-home” for the families with ill children who receive treatment at hospitals nearby. Many Alpha Delta Pi collegiate chapters/alumni associations dedicate a lot of time volunteering at the houses. ADPi provides the kind of support that only sisters can give: cooking meals, crafting, cleaning, playing with the children who are currently staying at the RMH, and many more. The Zeta Gamma Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi is grateful there is a Ronald McDonald House in Charlotte because it gives a sense of working hands-on with our philanthropy.
Most recently, our chapter received the Excellence in Philanthropy
Award at the 2013 Alpha Delta Pi Grand Convention.

Pie-A-Pie
Pie a Pi is one of the most anticipated events on UNCC’s Campus! For a small donation, you can pie any Alpha Delta Pi sister in the face.
This event is held each spring and proceeds benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Annual Boot
Scootin' BBQ
Every fall, the Zeta Gamma Chapter hosts ADPi’s Annual Boot Scootin’ BBQ. Tickets are sold in advance and those who attend can enjoy great food, live music, and great company while helping to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte!
March McMadness
Every March, the our Chapter takes part in a series of events that we call March Madness! These events include blood drives, confrences, and fundraisers that all help to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte!
